Our 3-star Nature Hotel enjoys a quiet, yet central position in the villa district of Merano, only a 15 minute walk from the historic old town of the thermal city. The hotel and the city of Merano are located in the Merano & environs region, the region where the valleys Val d'Adige, Val Venosta and Val Passiria meet.

By car you can reach Villa Freiheim on the "brown" hotel route in the direction of Merano - Centre. From Via Winkel road, a narrow one-way passage leads past the green ivy to our hotel.

Arrival by train

Train station Merano – From the main train station continue by taxi or take bus no. 4. Bus top: crossroads Via Schaffer-Via Winkel (bus top Maiser Park). From there it is a 4 minute walk to the hotel. We are pleased to support you.

Bolzano Airport – the closest airport is located in South Tyrol's capital 30 km from Merano. We are pleased to organise a pick-up service.

The airports in Verona and Innsbruck are about 110 km from Merano, Munich Airport is about 310 km from Merano.
